Christmas in Mt. Healthy, a city-wide holiday event, will include activities all day on December 9th, 2017. Ten participating venues in our historic business district, all within an easy walk, will offer opportunities for fun, holiday shopping, crafts, and food and drink.
All events are free, with exception of a minimal charge for materials to make a glass Christmas ornament at Hilltop Glass Creations. Visitors are encouraged to consult the Facebook event page “Christmas in Mt. Healthy 2017” for details and a link to an interactive map for all of the locations. Free public parking lots are indicated on the map.
Offerings will range from the traditional to the unique: from gift shopping at the antique mall and at the holiday artisans popup, a holiday ornament swap that allows people to trade their old holiday swag for new-to-them items, glass ornament making, horse-drawn carriage rides, to a shark feeding at the local aquarium shop. There will be food specials at local restaurants, and live music. Face painting will be offered, and tours of a historic 1833 home. The day can be topped off with a craft brew at the local microbrewery.
